We support children in line with our Statement of Purpose. Placements are carefully considered to ensure we can meet each child needs safely and effectively.

Yes. Kripa Blossom operates in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, including Quality Standards relating to care, safeguarding, education, health, and leadership.

Safeguarding is our highest priority. We have robust safeguarding policies and procedures in place, including:

Each child is supported by a Key Worker who develops a strong, trusted relationship with them. Individual care plans are created and regularly reviewed to support emotional wellbeing, education, health, independence, and personal development.

We strongly promote education and learning. We work closely with schools, virtual schools, colleges, and other education providers to support attendance, achievement, and positive engagement in learning.

Children are encouraged to take part in activities they enjoy, such as:

• Day trips and outings
• Life-skills development

Activities are planned with the child’s interests, abilities, and goals in mind.

Children are actively encouraged to express their views and wishes. Their opinions are taken seriously and reflected in care planning, daily routines, activities, and house meetings.

We provide a nurturing environment that promotes emotional resilience and positive behaviour. Staff are trained to support emotional wellbeing and work closely with external professionals where additional support is required.

Yes. We support safe and appropriate contact with family and friends in line with care plans and guidance from the placing authority, always prioritising the child’s safety and wellbeing.

We use positive behaviour management approaches that focus on understanding, de-escalation, and promoting healthy coping strategies. Any behaviour support plans are individualised and reviewed regularly.

Children, families, and professionals can raise concerns or complaints at any time. We have a clear and accessible complaints procedure, and children are supported to understand how to make a complaint if they wish.

Yes. We work closely with social workers, healthcare professionals, educators, and other agencies to ensure joined-up support and the best possible outcomes for each child.

We regularly review our practices, seek feedback from children and professionals, and maintain strong leadership and staff supervision to ensure continuous improvement and high standards of care.
